Ken Senior, the founder of Viking Saunas Ltd, has been involved in the leisure industry for 30+ years, initially importing saunas from Scandinavia, then in 1984 embarked on the manufacture of his own brand of saunas in order to offer better built and wider range of sizes and shapes to fulfill the ever increasing and diversifying market. Modern trends to compliment the sauna experience include extensive use of glass in the construction, safer concealed heating systems, colour therapy lighting and aromatherapy. |

The late 1980's saw resurgence in the popularity of steam bathing. However, many of the modular units available at that time were prone to cracking and delaminating after a relatively short period of time. Following extensive research and development Viking launched their own range in 1993. Available in 19 standard sizes the modular panels are handcrafted using several layers of chemically matched GRP, the formation of which ensures a solid and inseparable fabrication guaranteeing no de-lamination. All the steam room shells are guaranteed for Ten years. |
